Westwood Police Log: Truck Stolen, Identity Theft

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, September 14

Stolen Checks (9:07 a.m.) - A Sherman Way resident reported that checks had been stolen from their house. The resident had already notifed the bank.

Truck Stolen (7:23 a.m.) - A delivery truck filled with miscellaneous appliances was stolen from University Avenue. The vehicle was entered into CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services).

Identity Stolen (11:28 a.m.) - A Strafford Place resident received a bill from a Kohl's credit card account. The resident stated that he had never shopped at Kohl's, much less opened a credit card account there. He was advised to contact one of the credit agencies.
