Westwood Police Log: Toilet Paper and Disturbances

Friday, October 26

Suspicious Vehicle (7:11 a.m.) - An Elm St. resident called to report that there was a car that kept driving around the neighborhood. Officers arrived but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Auto Break-in (7:19 p.m.) - A caller reports that her vehicle's rear window was smashed in the Roch Bros. parking lot. Some electronics and clothes were taken.

Saturday, October 27

Suspicious Vehicle (12:26 p.m.) - A Canton St. resident called to report that there had been a car driving around the previous day and he wanted to request extra checks in the area.

Disturbance (10:19 a.m.) - Officers were called to a retail store on Providence Hwy. over a dispute between the store and a customer. The customer had threatened the storekeeper. The officers were able to help resolve the dispute peacefully.

Toilet Papered (12:00 p.m.) - An Elm St. resident called to report that his house had been toilet papered. An officer found that the house had been ghosted.

Disturbance (7:40 p.m.) - A Highview St. resident called to report that an older male had entered their house... and they don't know the man, nor does the man live there. The man was intoxicated. Officers searched the neighborhood to find him so they could make sure he made it to his own home.
