Westwood Police Log: Theft at Dunkin Donuts, Mailbox Vandalism on Porter Street
A Dorchester man reportedly stole $500 from a wallet at Dunkin Donuts, and a mailbox was thrown through a car window on Porter Street.
January 29, 9:35 p.m. – Westwood Police received reports that a patron at Dunkin Donuts on Providence Highway stole $500 from a wallet.
As such, police issued a criminal complaint for larceny of more than $250 to a 19-year-old male from Dorchester, whom will be summonsed to court for the charges.
January 30, 1:17 p.m. – A resident of Porter Street in Westwood reported to police that someone had launched a mailbox through the back window of a truck that was parked on his property.
