Westwood Police Log: Taxi Disturbance at Westwood Station, Suspicious Delivery on Spellman Rd.

A taxi driver was found harassing patrons at Westwood Station, and a business dispute affects a Spellman Road home.

August 19, 6:17 p.m. – Westwood Police received reports of a dispute between patrons of Westwood Station and a number of cab drivers parked in the area.

A taxi driver was found to be telling patrons of the Amtrak and Commuter Rail trains that they couldn't park along the outer ring of the garage area because it was reserved for taxies only.

There are, however, only two parking spaces in that outer ring designated for taxies, police said, even though there are often nearly a dozen taxies in the area. The driver who had been heckling patrons about the issue was told to stop.
