Westwood Police Log: Suspicious Activtiy on Strafford Ave, Theft on Clapboardtree Street

Looking for a Dog

A resident of Strafford Road called to report seeing two white males, aged 18 to 21 years, in the street of the neighborhood on Wednesday, June 29, around 12:36 a.m.

When asked what they were doing, the males allegedly said they were looking for their dog who had gotten away from its leash.

Police searched the area to confirm but the males were gone on arrival. Nothing in the area appeared to be disturbed.

Jewelry Theft

A resident of Clapboardtree Street reported to police on June 29 around 7:05 a.m. that some jewelry had been taken from their home.

Upon investigation, there was no sign of forced entry, police said. The matter remains under investigation.
