Westwood Police Log: Suspicious

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate an arrest.

Monday, October 15

Suspicious Vehicle (5:28 p.m.) - A resident of Ridgewood Rd. called to report a suspicious vehicle. Officers checked, and the driver was a licensed solicitor.

Suspicious Activity (5:50 p.m.) A resident of Warwick Dr. called to report that an exterior screen had some wear and tear on it and requested an officer take a look just in case. An officer checked it out and concluded that it was just a matter of the screen being old and needing to be replaced.

Suspicious Activity (10:20 a.m.) - A caller on Briar Ln. reported that there was a woman in a red running suit walking and a white can was following her. All checked out upon arrival.

Vandalism (12:04 p.m.) - A Grove St. resident reported that someone drove into a stone wall and did some damage to it. The caller believed that it occurred during the morning hours.
