Westwood Police Log: Shell Gas Station Vandalized, New Hampshire Man Found

The front door of a gas station was broken, and a New Hampshire teen was found on High Street.

April 8, 6:07 a.m. - The Westwood Shell Station on the northbound side of Route 1/Providence Highway was recently vandalized in an event that could be related to a similar incident in Norwood, police said.  

The front door of the Shell station, located at 384 Providence Highway, was "spidered," police said. Entry was not gained into the station, however.

Meanwhile, a similar incident took place in the same time frame in Norwood, also at a gas station. Police are currently investigating the incident.

April 8, 9:13 a.m. - Police received a report of a suspicious male in the vicinity of 1237 High Street, according to reports. 

Upon arrival to the area, police discovered that the male in question - a 16-year-old from Milford, New Hampshire - had been reported missing earlier in the day.

Westwood Police transported the juvenile back to the Westwood Police Department, and the parents in the New Hampshire town were contacted, and came down to pick up the male.
