Westwood Police Log: Restraining Order Issued, ID Compromised

Restraining Order Issued

Aug. 17, 11:02 p.m. - Westwood Police responded to a Phillips Brooks Road home to address a verbal disagreement in the household.

An on-call judge was requested to contact the officer on scene and issued an emergency restraining order, according to reports.

No arrests were made in the incident, police said.

Possible ID Theft

Aug. 19, 8:51 a.m. - A Gay Street resident entered the Police Department to report that part of her personal information had been comprised through an unauthorized disclosure of a computer file attached to a university.

Police determined that the notification the resident received was an advisory letter claiming that her information may have been compromised.
