Westwood Police Log: Obscene Phone Calls

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, October 16

Harassing Phone Calls (2:49 p.m.) - A Stanford Dr. resident reported receiving several rambling phone calls filled with obscenities.

Auto Break-in (8:44 p.m.) - A caller reported that their radio had been stolen from their car. They noticed after work around 8 p.m. They guessed the thief had gotten in through the hatchback somehow.

Thursday, October 18

Dogs (9:12 a.m.) - A caller reported loud barking dogs near High St. and Blueberry Ln. Officers went to check it out but all was quiet when they arrived.

Credit Card Fraud (9:36 a.m.) - A Winter St. resident reported that they got a call from their bank askign about some online charges on their account. The cardholder had not made the charges. The bank had refunded their money.
