Westwood Police Log: Money Found, Shoplifter Hits CVS

A resident turns in lost money to the police, and a shoplifter steals baby formula from CVS.

February 10, 10:59 a.m. – A Westwood resident entered the Police Station to turn in an undisclosed amount of money that they had found. The money was put into evidence and police are waiting for an owner to claim it.

February 10, 7:40 p.m. – An employee of CVS on Washington Street reported to police that a female had entered the store and removed six bottles of baby formula without paying for them.

The female, according to reports, was described as a white female, wearing tan boots, jeans, and a grey winter jacket with a brown hat. She reportedly left the premises in a gold-colored vehicle.

The bottles of formula were valued at $12.99 each. The matter is still under investigation.
