Pot Smoking Items Found at Buckmaster Pond

July 5, 10:27 p.m. - , while on routine patrol, came across a 2006 Saab parked at the parking lot of .

After approaching the vehicle, police found various marijuana paraphernalia including a grinder and Zig Zag rolling papers, police said.

The occupants of the vehicle were juveniles, and their parents were notified of the incident. 

Cyclist Hits Car on Westfield Street

July 6, 6:35 a.m. - Police responded to Westfield Street after receiving reports that a cyclist was hit by a car in the area.

Upon arrival police determined that a vehicle had been backing out of a driveway on the road, and stopped to look one way, when a bicycle rider who did not see the car ran into the back of the vehicle. 

The cyclist was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Needham, complaining of minor pain.
