Westwood Police Log: Honda Broken Into, Items Missing From Home

Items Stolen from Unlocked Honda Pilot

July 22, 1:02 a.m. - received a report from a Whitney Avenue resident that someone had entered her 2004 Honda Pilot and took a garage door opener, as well as gift cards from McDonalds that had been in the vehicle. 

The Honda was unlocked during the incident, police said.

The matter is under investigation and extra checks of the property were requested. 

No Forced Entry in Possible Home Break-In

July 23, 1:05 p.m. - A resident of Stonemeadow Drive reported to police that a number of items were missing from their home. 

Police said there were no signs of forced entry at the home. The matter is under investigation.
