Westwood Police Log: Home Windows Damaged on Pine Lane, Oak Street

Rock Damages Home Window

June 29, 9:29 p.m. - received a report from a Pine Lane resident that someone had thrown a rock through a window of the home.

The rock was described as a good-sized rock, slightly oval, three inches across and five inches in length. The matter remains under investigation.

Possible Attempted Break-In

July 1, 1:42 p.m. - A caretaker of a home on Oak Street reported to police that a window at the rear of the home had been damaged.

It appeared that the incident may have been in an attempt for someone to enter the home, though no entry did occur and nothing was reported missing, police said.

The matter remains under investigation.

Missing Westwood Lodge Patient

July 1, 2:13 p.m. - An adult patient at Westwood Lodge who was in the process of being admitted to the facility decided to leave before the process was completed, police said.

A broadcast was sent out and the resident was eventually located in Dedham, and transported back to Westwood Lodge for medical evaluation.
