Westwood Police Log: Home Break-in, Vandalism and Medication Theft

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned there is no indication of a conviction.

Monday, October 8

Vandalism (1:34 p.m.) - A resident of Sherman Way called to report that their house had been egged at 2 a.m.

House Break-in (12:08 p.m.) - A home on Dover Rd. was broken into some time between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. when no one was home. Some jewelry was taken from the home. Officers canvassed the neighborhood for witnesses or people who may have seen something suspicious or out of place. The case has been referred to detectives, and it is an ongoing investigation.

Medication Theft (5:42 p.m.) - A resident of Norwood reported that she was in Roche Bros. and she had medication taken from her pocketbook. Detectives are still investigating.
