Westwood Police Log: Home Alone

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

Saturday, November 24

Home Alone (9:28 p.m.) - A Pettees Pond Ln. caller stated that the daughter was home alone and she heard a loud noise. An officer checked and the home was secure and cleared.

Vandalism (10:16 p.m.) - A Fox Hill St. resident reported that their mailbox was knocked off the post. An officer was dispatched to make a report, and while there also noted that there were barrels and cones in the area that had been disturbed.

Sunday, November 25

Suspicious Vehicle (10:55 a.m.) A resident of Reservoir Rd. called to report a suspicious gray pickup truck parked at the end of the street. An officer was dispatched to check it out and found that the owner of the truck is a friend of the property's owner. They were using the truck to clean out the leaved.

Searching for Dog (9:04 p.m.) - A Sexton Ave. resident called to report to people making noise in the yard. An officer was sent to check it out and found that the two people were looking for their dog.
