Westwood Police Log: Cat Bite Investigated, Firearm Turned In

Westwood Animal Control looks into a cat bite and a resident turns in a gun.

March 8, 11:15 a.m. - Westwood Animal Control responded to Gay Street after receiving a report of an animal bite by a resident.

The incident involved a cat bite; the cat belonged to the resident, according to Westwood Police.

March 11, 12:01 p.m. - A resident of Nahatan Street walked into the Westwood Police Station to turn in a firearm that belonged to a relative, according to police reports.

The firearm was placed into safe keeping.
