Westwood Police Log: Car Window Smashed, Cell Phone Stolen
A resident's car was broken into, while an out-of-town resident's cell phone was reported stolen.
March 23, 2:16 p.m. - A resident of Glacier Drive reported to police that a 2008 Mitsubishi that was parked on the road had been broken into with the driver's side window smashed in.
A GPS unit was stolen from the vehicle, and police described the perpetrator as being a white male, balding, and about 5-feet, 9-inches tall.
The GPS unit was an older model, police said, and the owner did not have an immediate dollar figured.
March 24, 5:43 p.m. - A resident of Randolph entered the Westwood Police Station to report theft of a cell phone valued at about $430.
The phone was reported missing when the resident was at the Clarke House in Fox Hill Village. The cell phone was described as being a black myTouch Slide phone.
