Westwood Police Log: A Burglary and More

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. Any time an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, November 3

Burglary (10:23 p.m.) - A Meadowbrook Rd. resident called to report a break-in. There was a smashed rear window. It happened sometime between 3 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. Some jewelry was taken. Westwood Police are investigating.

Vandalism (10:55 p.m.) - A Sherman Way resident reported that eggs had been thrown at his house.

Sunday, November 4

Suspicious Activity (6:28 p.m.) A Fisher St. resident called to report that some people were walking up to different houses and ringing doorbells. An officer checked and found that the people were simply pollsters getting people's opinions on the upcoming election.
