Westwood Police Arrests: Oct. 11-19

Assault and Battery 

Oct. 14, 8:30 p.m. - arrested a Whitney Avenue resident after responding to the neighborhood for a dispute in a home.

Oct. 16, 12:27 a.m. - While on routine patrol, Westwood Police noticed a vehicle parked behind the , and discovered that an arrest warrant had been issued for the registered owner.

The warrant was issued out of Lowell District Court for a Roslindale man for assault and battery and assault to rape.

The man was arrested without incident and transported to the Westwood Police Department.

Unspecified Arrest Warrant

Oct. 16, 2:59 a.m. - A Dedham resident was arrested on Providence Highway near Southwest Park on a warrant issued out of Dedham District Court.
