Vehicle Fire on 128, Phone Scam

The Westwood Police department provided the following information.

Monday, March 11

3:27 p.m.: A resident called Westwood Police reporting identity theft, saying a person called her claiming to be an AT&T representative. The resident called AT&T customer service to verify that person was an employee of the company, but found the person was not. 

6:47 p.m.: The Dedham Fire department responded to a vehicle fire on Rte. 128. Westwood fire crews received a cancellation while en route.

Tuesday, March 12

7:41 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a robbery at knife point of Dunkin' Donuts on Providence Highway. Full details are available here.
