Taxi Driver Calls Police Reporting He 'Picked Up Burglar'
The Westwood Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, Aug. 7
12:24 a.m.: Officers responded to an incident involving a taxi that picked up a fare and suspected the person may be involved in a recent burglary.
12:13 p.m.: Officers received a report of a loose dog. Animal control responded to search for the dog.
10:43 p.m.: A caller reported individuals removing traffic cones and reflectors off the street. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
