State Police Respond to Morning Rollover on Route 128

The incident took place during rush hour in Westwood Thursday morning.

Massachusetts State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a rollover on Route 128/I-95 Thursday morning shortly after 7 a.m., police said.  

The incident involved a 2010 Kia Rio, operated by a 48-year-old female from Millis, and a 2003 Ford Superduty pickup truck, driven by a 28-year-old Brockton man. The accident took place near Exit 13 in Westwood.

The Rio rolled over in the incident, and the driver was taken to Norwood Hospital for injuries. It was not clear Thursday what her status was, according to police. She was believed to be the only passenger in the vehicle at the time.

The driver of the Ford, meanwhile, was not reported to have sustained injuries, police said. 

Westwood EMTs responded to the scene, police said. The area was clear around 7:23 a.m.
