Serious Car Crash on Route 128; Medical Helicopter Requested

Massachusetts State Police is reporting a serious crash on Route 128 in Westwood Sunday night.

UPDATED 12:35 a.m. - One male taken to a Boston hospital via a helicopter.

There were items in the rolled over vehicle indicating there may have been a female in the vehicle, but no other person was found at the scene.

Police are still investigation the crash.

Massachusetts State Police is reporting a serious crash on Route 128 in Westwood Sunday night, just after 11 p.m.

The crash took place on Route 128 South near exit 13 at University Avenue.

Scanner report said the vehicle rolled over and one occupant was ejected.

There is an unconfirmed scanner report that one occupant is missing.

A medical helicopter was requested and landed on the highway. One individual was loaded onto the helicopter, which took off about 11:30 p.m.

State and local police are on the scene.
