Police Searching for Cell Phone Theft

Two cell phones were stolen from the AT&T store.

Westwood Police are investigating a recent theft at the  store on Providence Highway.

The incident took place on Tuesday, May 10 at around 11:42 a.m., when employees at the store reported that a Hispanic male, around 18 or 19 years old, wearing a blue hoodie with khaki cargo shorts, had entered teh store and stole a smart phone valued at $400, as well as another cell phone valued at $200.

Police searched the area upon arrival, but were unable to locate the suspect in question.

The matter is currently under investigation. 

A took place in late April, when two young individuals were reported to have stolen an iPhone, valued at around $500, from the store.
