Police Make Arrests on Warrant, OUI Charges

A Marston Mills man was arrested for three outstanding warrants, and a Bellingham man was arrested for an OUI charge.

May 28, 12:36 p.m. - arrested a Marston Mills man on Clapboardtree Street after it was determined he had three outstanding warrants for his arrest issued out of Barnstable District Court.

Tristian O’Toole, 20, of 346 Rte. 149 in Marston Mills. was arrested and taken to the Westwood Police Station for the listed charges.

May 29, 12:44 a.m. - A man was arrested at the corner of Clapboardtree Street and Thatcher Street for driving under the influence of drugs, among other charges. The driver was arrested after a Westwood Police officer on patrol observed a 1995 blue Honda to be operating with two broken rear tail lights.

After stopping the vehicle, police detected the odor of marijuana, and subsequently asked the man to perform a field sobriety test, which he refused to do, police said. The man was also unresponsive to questions police asked him regarding the time of day, his level of education, and other routine questions.

He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, as well as a miscellaneous equipment violation and a citation for being in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
