Police Logs: One Audi Robbed of its Tires, Another Damaged

The following information was supplied by the Westwood Police Department for the week of March 27-April 2. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, April 1

Party of Nearly 300 Ends in One Arrest (2:52 a.m.) - Westwood Police arrested a local man after responding to a disturbance on Nancy Drive early Sunday morning. Officers were dispatched to the area on a report of a fight in the middle of the street. Upon arrival, police found people to be standing in the roadway, may of whom they observed to be under the age of 21. Police then approached a home, where they spotted between 200 and 300 people. As a result of response, police arrested Anthony Pandiscio, 31, of Westwood, for delivering alcohol to persons under the age of 21, and disturbing the peace.

Tires Stolen From Audi (4:36 a.m.) - A security guard working at the dealership on Providence Highway reported that an Audi S4, parked in the dealership's auxiliary lot, had been robbed of its four tires. The value of the tires is estimated to be at around $4,000, police said. The matter is under investigation.

Resident a Victim of ID Fraud (1:42 p.m.) - A resident of Mill Street reported to police that after attempting to file his taxes electronically, the Internal Revenue Service informed him that the taxes had already been filed using his Social Security number. Police advised the resident and told him to speak with the IRS for resolution. 

Audi Damaged (2:22 a.m.) - The driver's side window of a 2007 Audi parked a the  dealership on Providence Highway was broken overnight, police said. After investigation, police determined that nothing had been stolen from the vehicle, despite glass being found on the driver's side seat and on the ground near the car. The matter is under investigation.
