AM Sylvester: A electric utility bucket truck hit the bridge and over-turned. Oils and other liquids spilled onto East Street and Cyn Eanvironmental and the Westwood Fire Department had a pretty big task of cleaning the waste chemicals, pumping them out of catch basins and preventing them from contaminating the water system. Many booms and pads had to be used and was a relatively big operation especially with the rain which helped disperse the oils. When the truck was up-righted to be removed, more oils leaked from the ruptured tank. Only a matter of time before an innocent person or people will be killed under that bridge while the town continues to "discuss" and have meetings about it. Time to take ACTION.
