Police Log: Vandalism and Theft

IPod stolen- A Locust Drive resident called to report that their IPod had been stolen from their vehicle. The caller reported that they had left the IPod in the car late Friday night, so it appeared the theft had happened sometime between then and Sunday at around 6 p.m.

Arrest, Vandalism- A Hillview resident called to report that he witnessed two males without shirts jumping on his car. Officers were dispatched to the address and one of the individuals was picked up and identified as the perpetrator. This resulted in a juvenile arrest.

Tuesday, August 7

Credit Card Fraud- A resident of Oak Street reported that their credit card had been used fraudulently for a little more than $61. The transaction was made through an Internet site based in South Korea.

Monday, August 6

Vandalism- A Woodland Road resident reported that Verizon lines were damaged. These lines were going into the base. Verizon was notified and the case is under investigation.
