Police Log: Person Hospitalized after Exhibiting 'Altered Mental Status'
The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department.
Saturday, Dec. 29
12:37 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a person exhibiting an altered mental status on Washington Street. The person was transported to Norwood Hospital for assistance.

12:04 a.m.: A caller reported having difficulty operating their car in the snow on Wentworth Street. Officers responded and facilitated a plow to assist the vehicle up a hill.
1:03 p.m.: Police received a report of suspicious activity on Edgewood Road. Officers responded and identified the young man in question.
