Resident Falls Victim to Craigslist Scam
Feb. 9, 11:04 a.m. - A Westdale Road resident reported to Westwood Police that she had been the victim of a scam through Craigslist regarding a counterfeit check.
Police are encouraging residents to be aware of warnings and notices on Craigslist that provide details on various scams.

'Littery' Tickets?
Feb. 10, 9:47 a.m. - A resident of Mayfair Drive reported to police of an ongoing situation on the road where a "plethora" of lottery tickets had been scratched and thrown from a vehicle that was driving through the neighborhood, thus littering the road with the used tickets.

TV Goes Missing
Feb. 11, 4 p.m. - A resident of Porter Street in Westwood reported that upon arriving home they found a TV set had been missing.
Police responded to the home and determined that there was no forced entry, and the matter is under investigation. Police provided a $4,000 estimated value for the TV.
West Roxbury Man Arrested for Shoplifting in Westwood
Feb. 11, 5:20 p.m. - Police responded to Roche Bros.on Washington Street, where they had received a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival, police arrested John Bouhanna, 31, of West Roxbury for attempting to shoplift baby formula worth more than $100.
