Police Log: Car Spray Painted at American Legion, Employee Steals Laptop

Rav 4 Covered in Yellow Spray Paint

Dec. 13, 10:03 a.m. - A female who parked her Toyota Rav 4 at in Westwood reported to police that the car had been severely vandalism while she was there playing a bridge game. 

Specifically, the car was covered in yellow spray paint, save for the hood and windshield.

Police said the incident appeared to have been isolated and her car was targeted, as no other vehicles in the lot were vandalized. 

The matter remains under investigation.

Employee Refuses Laptop Return

Dec. 13, 4 p.m. - Police received a report from a company on University Avenue that an employee who had been terminated in August had not yet turned in a company-issued laptop.

Police attempted to reach the employee but were unsuccessful, and are filing charges of larceny over $250.
