Police Log: Bullets Found in Car at Dealership

Clip Found in Car Panel
Feb. 3, 12:39 p.m. - An individual at the dealership of Westwood called police to inform them that a clip of bullets was found in a vehicle on the lot.
It was not believed there was any criminal element attached to the incident, police said.

A manager at the dealership discovered the clip while taking a vehicle apart. The clip was found in the car's encapsulation panel, and was described to be rusted and also appeared to have been in the car "for years."
Disturbance on Bayley Street

Feb. 3, 9:27 p.m. - Westwood Police responded to Bayley Street for a report of 12 to 15 teenagers causing a disturbance in the street.
Upon arrival police located the cause of the disturbance and mediated before clearing the area.
The incident appeared to have stemmed from a possible unattended house party in the neighborhood, police said.
Citizens Bank ATM Breached
Feb. 4 - 12:07 p.m. - The individual ATM for Citizens Bank on High Street across from Westwood Gulf was breached and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen, according to Westwood Police.
The incident occurred during the overnight hours, when the ATM was damaged and "entered with force."
Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene services responded to assist with the investigation, which remains ongoing.
