Officers Respond to Reports of Larceny, Suspicious Activity

The Westwood Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Friday, May 3

7:31 a.m.: A resident of Clapboard Tree Street reported suspicious a activity after receiving a letter in the mail that was concerning to her. 

1:18 p.m.: Officers responded to an animal call from a concerned individual who said there was a dog in a car on Washington Street without proper ventilation. Police responded and advised a woman to provide provide more fresh air to her dog.

8:17 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of larceny of a $73,000 Mercedes at a dealership on Providence Highway and determined the incident to be a civil matter.
