Officers Respond to Larceny, Motor Vehicle Crash

The Westwood Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Monday, June 3

6:36 p.m.: A man entered the police station to report the theft of a commercial vehicle on Everett Street. Two backpack leaf-blowers were stolen from a locked trailer in a space that is used to store commercial vehicles and equipment. The matter is under investigation. 

Tuesday, June 4

6:25 a.m.: Officers responded to a one-car motor vehicle crash on High Street. The vehicle drifted off the road and crashed, damaging 50 feet of fence at a High Street home. A 24-year-old Mattapan man was summonsed for negligent operation and marked lanes violation.

2:36 p.m: A resident entered the station relative to an unwanted party in his house stealing money from his home. The person is known to family members. The matter is under investigation.

7:30 p.m.: A resident entered the station to report the violation of a harassment prevention order. Officers filed a report relative to the matter.
