Hedge Trimmer Assault, Cat on Loose and Armed Robbery

The Westwood Police have had a busy week.

Last week was a busy one for the officers of the Westwood Police Department. Here's a look back at the police activity in town:

1. Maureen Mullin was arrested and charged after allegedly assaulting her 9-year-old daughter with electric hedge trimmers. Her husband was able to intervene, though, and prevent further injury.

2. On Sunday, the Dunkin Donuts on Providence Highway was robbed by a person in a ski mask who has not yet been caught.

3. A cat was reported missing from a home on Whitewood Road. Police were told it "broke out" of the house.
