FOUND: Do You Know This Dog?

Westwood Animal Control has found a lost female Pomeranian, and waiting for the rightful owner to claim her.

Westwood Animal Control Officer Paul Jolicoeur reported Friday that the department has found a lost Pomeranian female dog, presumed to be 6 to 9 years old. 

The dog was first sighted Tuesday night at 11:30 p.m. by a motorist near Brook Street in Westwood. Jolicoeur, with the help of fellow officers of the Westwood Police Department, was able to capture the dog on Wednesday morning at the end of Oak Street. 

The dog has no collar, tags, or a micrchip, and is tan in color. The department has nicknamed her "Pamela," after she took kindly to an employee of the same name at the .

Jolicoeur said the dog is currently staying at the Natick Animal Shelter, which Westwood uses to house lost animals.
