Dunkin' Donuts Robbed at Knife Point

Police responded to a robbery at the Rte. 1 Dunkin' Donuts on Tuesday.

The Westwood Police Department provided the following press release. 

On Tuesday March 12, 2013 at approximately 7:40 p.m. Westwood Police responded to a report of a robbery with a knife at Dunkin’ Donuts at 208 Providence Highway (Route 1).

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’6 with a medium build.

The suspect was dressed in black clothing including a black scarf wrapped around his face.

As he approached the cashier he displayed a knife and ordered the cashier to open the cash register drawer. A small amount of cash was stolen and the suspect fled. Nobody was injured during the event.
