Dunkin' Donuts Held Up in Armed Robbery

The incident occurred on Route 1 just before 8 p.m.

Tuesday night officers from the Westwood Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at Dunkin' Donuts.

The restaurant in Lambert's Plaza on Providence Highway was held up an hour before closing.

Initial scanner reports indicate that the weapon in question was a knife, although Lieutenant Christopher Sheehy was unable to confirm this report.
