Assault at Westwood Lodge; Turtle in Road
The Westwood Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Aug. 9
1:20 p.m.: Officers received a report of a past assault at the Westwood Lodge Hospital. The matter is under investigation.
2:54 p.m.: Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash in which a car struck another from behind which was pushed into a third vehicle. There were no injuries and no citations issued.
Saturday, Aug. 10
10:47 a.m.: A caller reported a large turtle in the crosswalk. Officers responded and moved it safely across the road to the pond.
