Armed Robbery at Public Storage
An armed robbery occurred at Westwood Public Storage on Sept. 2.
On Monday, Sept. 2, just before 3 p.m., the Westwood Police Department was called to Westwood Public Storage on East Street for a report of an armed robbery, according to the Westwood Police Department.
The suspect -- described as a Caucasian male wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and sunglasses -- showed a black handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Massachusetts State Police assisted with processing the scene for evidence. The incident is still under investigation.
