1. Planning Board Meeting: Among other items to be discussed at its 7:30 p.m. meeting tonight, the Westwood Planning Board will meet with the town's Tree Warden regarding the removal of trees from Sandy Valley Road. 

2. Thanksgiving Week Trash Collection: There will be a holiday schedule for trash collection this week: There will be regular pick up Monday through Wednesday, but there will be no picked up on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day). Trash and recycling for the rest of the week will be delayed one day; Friday collection will be on Saturday. 

3. Tree Lights Being Installed: Notice a few workers over at on Monday? Crews began installing holiday lights on the trees by the building to prepare for the .

4. Christmas Tree Fundraiser: Starting this Friday, Westwood residents will be able to purchase a Christmas Tree at the Islington Tennis Courts as part of the Westwood Permanent Firefighters Association's 

5. Warm Clothing Drive: Westwood Girl Scout Troop #74300 will be collecting . Coats, boots and snow pants in new or gently-used condition can be dropped off at the Collection Box at the school. The drive will benefit the homeless and low-income children of Massachusetts through the Cradles to Crayons organization.
