Napper Tandy's Flyer Returns After Five-Year Hiatus

After a five-year hiatus, the four-mile race will return on August 22.

After a five-year hiatus, the Napper Tandy's Flyer will return to Norwood on August 22 at 7 p.m.

Three local businesses -- Charles River Running, Winged Foot Running, and Napper Tandy’s Norwood -- have partnered up and are proud and excited to bring back one of the most popular and celebrated area races.

The race course is the original challenging but beloved four-mile course ran from 2002 to 2008.

After the race, folks can enjoy delicious food and drinks, live music from a phenomenal local band, and just sit and celebrate the joy we all share in running and the great group of people it brings together.

The net proceeds from the event go to the Norwood Circle of Hope, which aids and supports residents that suffer from critical and life-changing medical conditions.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers, as well as to the top male and female teams.  Age group winners will receive a pint glass award.
