Pedestrian/Bike Safety Meeting

The Ped/Bike Safety Committee meets the 4th Thursday of every month at 50 Carby St. All residents are welcome to attend to learn more about efforts to improve safety and encourage/promote more walking and biking in town. • Review and approval of past meeting minutes
• Introduction of new DPW Director
• Update on crosswalk improvement grant application
• Update on trails projects in Westwood (e.g. Fox Hill Meadows)
• Update on bike rack installations
• Possible discussion of recent safety issues including bike crash on Gay St
• New business – any suggestions or concerns from the public
• Next meeting: may cancel August meeting; postpone to September
