Join families, friends and neighbors who are involved in positive caring for children, adults and seniors with health and physical challenges for our third annual community forum: Building a Caring Community on April 9, 2012 from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Carby Street Municipal Building.
The forum will provide strategies for caregivers who need to build a support network and information on various resources available to individuals with disabilities and their caregivers.
The meeting will be facilitated by Sheryl Leary, LSW, Options Counselor and Family Caregiver Support Coordinator for HESSCO Elder Services, a member of the Aging and Disability Resource Consortium. Speakers will include Abby Hanscom, Director of Student Services for Westwood, and Mary Barry, Area Director, Department of Developmental Services.
