Paul, I agree that the Converse building is a gem. It will be open Thursday evening, February 21, for the kick-off celebration of Malden Reads. There are also occasional art tours in the evening (one was to take place yesterday but the library was closed due to Nemo, so it may be rescheduled soon). Part of the Converse building is open Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons to those doing local history research. The Wine Tasting fundraiser in the spring is another wonderful to see the original building.

Thank you, Rebecca, for the information. I haven't been in the Converse in over 26 years. I will make it a point to get there soon.

You're welcome, Paul. I hope you do get a chance to visit soon. There's been some lovely restoration work done over the past few years.

Hi, Paul. Thought I'd let you know that there will be an Art Tour through the old library building a week from today--March 12 at 7 p.m. (The tours are held regularly on the second Tuesday of each month.)

Thank you, Rebecca. I will see if I can get there. :)
