Older Adult Fitness Classes

Older Adult Fitness Classes are offered at the First Church and Parish in Dedham.  Being active is an essential piece of a healthy and independent lifestyle.  Group classes are a great way to meet new people while making exercise a part of your daily routine.  This class combines fitness with fun to increase endurance and strength with low-impact aerobic movements.  Lower and upper body strength, flexibility and balance exercises are used with a chair for support.  The classes are led by a certified knowledgeable instructor experienced in working with oldere adults.  As with any exercise program, please get medical clearance from a qualified physician.  Wear sturdy supportive athletic shoes and loose-fitting clothes.  Please bring water and light hand-held weights.
