Awakening Your Prana w/Annie Won
What is prana? This workshop will invigorate and deepen your yoga practice as we explore our understanding of prana -- from breath to body. We will discuss how our yoga practice helps us tap into the vitality of our life force. The workshop will include a discussion of pranamaya kosha (the sheath between our inner and outer minds), as well as the five pranas: prana, apana, udana, samana, vyana. We will then flow through a vinyasa sequence that emphasizes the opening and integration of each prana. Be prepared to flow!
Annie Won is a 200 hour RYT who is currently completing her 500 hour RYT training with Claire Este-McDonald and Gregor Singleton. Annie is very interested in mind-body connections of yoga, meditation, and pranic flow. She has completed Baptiste Level I Bootcamp with Baron Baptiste and studied with Coeli Marsh, Tamsy Markham, and Josh Summers in the Baptiste and Yin yoga traditions respectively. Annie is also a Path of Freedom meditation facilitator in MA prisons with the Prison Dharma Network.
