Westwood Recreation Hosts Summer Program Preview

Children of all ages enjoyed a sampling of programs available through the Westwood Recreation Department this summer.

The Open House offered plenty of activities for children of all ages ranging from tee shirt decorating, mini golf putting, crafts, open swim time in the pool, and several moon bounces to expend bursts of energy.

Several demos took place from many of the summer programs, giving parents and children the opportunity to explore some of the diverse programming Westwood Recreation has to offer and to meet staff and instructors or ask questions.

Some of the demos included karate, tennis, Jr. Wolverines (t-ball, basketball and soccer), musical theatre, spring board diving and synchronized swimming which were put on by both instructors and current students.
