Westwood Police Logs: Vandalism Suspect Summonsed for Underage Possession

Teenage Vandal Suspect Caught With Booze
July 16, 12:16 a.m. - A resident of Farm Lane reported suspicious activity when a vehicle stopped outside his home. The resident reportedly confronted the oppucants of the vehicle and noticed that minor vandalism was done to his own vehicle. Police reported that a tire iron was used to strike the exterior of the vehicle as well as chipping one of the windows. The vandalism is under investigation.
The Farm Lane resident was able to give a good description of the suspects. The vehicle left the scene when the owner came out of the house to confront them, but due to the description, Police stopped the vehicle near the house.

Police found that the driver of the vehicle was a 17 year old male with illegal possession of alcohol. There were no signs of the operator being intoxicated.
A summons was given for the possession of alcohol and the vandalism is still under investigation.
