Where/When: Veterans Park, High Street & Pond Street, Westwood; Friday, Nov. 11: 11 a.m.
Why Go: Come salute those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces this Friday at 11 a.m. as part of the town's annual Veterans Day services. 
Price: Free.

Where/When: , 220 Nahatan St, Westwood; Friday, Nov. 11: 7 p.m.
Why Go: Come cheer on the Wolverines as they take on the Hopkinton Hillers. Veterans from around the area will also be recognized during a special ceremony during the game, and to cover the game for their weekly High School Friday segment. 
Price: N/A; Free for Veterans.

Where/When: , 695 High St, Westwood; Friday, Nov. 11: 5 p.m.
Why Go: Head over to Decor & More on High Street for a HeartStrings Trunk Show. It's that time of year to start thinking about holiday gifts, and there will be appetizers and wine to enjoy as you shop the shelves. 
Price: Free to attend.

Where/When: , 80 Carby St, Westwood; Sunday, Nov. 13: 9 a.m.
Why Go: Get one last run in before the winter hits! Register for the last of Hale's 5K series for 2011.
Price: N/A; Online registration is available at www.Active.com and will close on Friday evening at 8 p.m.

Where/When: , 60 Nahatan St, Westwood; Saturday, Nov. 12: 9 a.m.
Why Go: This Saturday, Cub Scouts from Westwood Packs 1 and 2 and Pack 1 Islington will be going to neighbors homes distributing flyers for the annual nationwide Scouting for Food drive. The Scouts will be asking residents to donate canned goods and other non-perishable food items. Residents will place these donations in bags and on their front steps for collection on Saturday, Nov. 19 by 9 a.m. Get ahead of the game and help out the Scouts!
